The brand was founded by De Montfort University graduate Leanne Brooke who finished the Countour and Fashion Design course with a first class honours degree. Her designs were previously featured in Lingerie Buyer and were showcased at the Harrogate Lingerie and Swimwear Exhibition, and were thrust into the public eye when they featured in the Tiny Dancer music video with DJ Ironik, featuring Chipmunk and Elton John.

The new Obey My Demand collection focuses on the contrast between soft sheer panels and studded leather and metal suspenders, all of which are handmade.
