Agent Provocateur Appoints Kim Winser as Chairman

Agent Provocateur has announced the appointment of former Aquascutum chief executive Kim Winser as chairman, replacing Stuart Rose who recently stepped down from the post.

Winser has been working with Agent Provocateur since December 2009 as senior adviser to the owner of the retailer, private equity firm 3i.

Winser previously headed up high end brands such as Pringle and Aquascutum as well as working with Marks and Spencer for over two decades and it is hoped that her experience of luxury brands will help to move the business forward.

Chief executive at Agent Provocateur Garry Hogarth said of the appointment: "The last two years have seen significant and exciting changes in our business since we were acquired by 3i. We are now looking at the next stage of our growth."
